Scalp MicroPigmentation is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that simulates the appearance of hair follicles, to create the illusion of additional density within a thin area. This procedure reduces the appearance of visible thinning and can take the focus away from linear strip surgery scars. That said, we offer Scalp MicroPigmentation only to those patients wanting to reduce the appearance of scars on the scalp, including those from previous hair transplants. Scalp MicroPigmentaion does fade over time and will need additional touch ups. We have found that when done on an entire head, the results do not last long enough to achieve a long term desired outcome.
